Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Software Engineers in Poznań to build, evaluate, and improve AI-generated code. This hourly contract role offers remote work with 10-40 hours per week, allowing you to shape how AI understands and reasons about software.

You will review AI-produced code, identify bugs, and design prompts to stress-test AI capabilities while collaborating asynchronously on your own schedule. Bachelor's in CS or related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in one or more programming languages listed, with ability to adapt to new languages quickly.
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms and software design principles.
• Able to read, write, and reason about code with clarity and precision.
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently without supervision.

Responsibilities

• Write, debug, and optimize code across a range of languages, frameworks, and problem domains.
• Review and evaluate AI-generated code for correctness, efficiency, readability, and best practices.
• Identify bugs, logic errors, security issues, and performance bottlenecks in AI outputs.
• Provide structured, detailed feedback explaining why code works — or doesn't.
• Design challenging coding prompts and edge-case scenarios to stress-test AI capabilities.
• Compare and rank multiple AI-generated solutions based on engineering quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule.
