Job summary

Hyland is seeking a Manager - Software Engineering to lead AI/ML product teams across Poland, Portugal, and remote locations. You will shape engineering strategy, mentor leaders, and drive delivery of high-quality software while maintaining security and agility.

The role requires four+ years in AI and leadership, deep knowledge of ML workflows, Agile methods, and strong communication and budget accountability. Remote-friendly, with country-specific benefits and a focus on engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with four or more years in AI and prior software engineering leadership.
• Core knowledge of AI, ML, and data science concepts, with hands-on experience across relevant tools and frameworks.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or other software development methodologies, with fiscal responsibility and budget accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team to deliver timely, high-quality results by aligning backlogs with product vision and defining user stories.
• Guide the software development lifecycle and remove roadblocks to maintain momentum.
• Provide technical guidance while promoting security, quality, and engineering agility.
