Job summary

CapsLock is seeking a Marketing Design Team Lead to guide an AI-driven creative team, delivering performance-focused visuals for large North American partners. You will scale a small team to six, manage production workflows, and push creative boundaries with AI-powered tooling.

The role combines leadership, strategic creative direction, and hands-on design using Figma, Adobe Suite, and AI platforms. Fluency in English is required and remote work is offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing creative/design teams in digital marketing.
• Strong project management, process discipline, and deadline adherence.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite; comfortable with AI outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and scale a team of AI-driven Creative Designers (3→6).
• Own production flow: distribution, capacity planning, QC.
• Drive creative direction: concepts, hooks, visual angles that convert.
• Generate ideas and push iterations based on trends and competitors.
• Own the creative testing loop: build a winners database and analyze results.
• Track new AI models/tools; be the go-to AI visual expert for the team.
• Run R&D and build prompt/style libraries to keep quality high as team grows.
• Stay hands-on with tools (Figma, Adobe Suite, AI platforms) when needed.
• Partner with the AI Pipeline Engineer to turn needs into pipelines and automation.
• Collaborate with Creative Producers, Marketers, Media Buyers, and Video Editors.
