Job summary

UBS Kraków is seeking an Operations QA professional focused on regulatory reporting across UBS internal systems. You will ensure timely, accurate reporting data to regulators and contribute to data controls and automation while collaborating with IT, middle office, and Compliance teams.

The role emphasizes data analysis, control development, and process optimization with a strong emphasis on automation and AI-enabled improvements. This is a full-time on-site position in Kraków.

Qualifications

• Degree in an analytical field (Finance, Economics, Data/Computer Science).
• Proven experience in financial services (data analysis, controls, regulatory reporting, or audit).
• Basic understanding of risk and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Regular quality assurance testing across UBS internal systems’ reports and regulatory reporting.
• Develop and enhance data controls to translate regulatory rules into processes.
• Analyze large datasets to identify breaks and root causes with reference to regulatory standards.
• Build reusable queries, data models, and self-service validation tools.
• Investigate exceptions and collaborate with IT, middle office, report processing, and Compliance.
• Propose fixes with analytical evidence and scalable logic.
• Implement and test updated reporting rules, mapping logic, and new data attributes.
• Contribute to automation, data quality indicators, anomaly detection models, and scalable control frameworks.
