Job summary

Inetum Polska is seeking an experienced Business Engineer to bridge business needs and technology for web and mobile applications. You will elicit, analyze, and document requirements, craft user stories, and collaborate with Product Owners, UX/UI designers, and developers.

You will support backlog refinement, estimation, traceability, and testing, ensuring clear, actionable requirements and continuous improvement across the delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Engineering: Elicit, analyze, document, and validate functional and non-functional requirements for web and mobile applications (iOS/Android).
• User Stories & Acceptance Criteria: Create and maintain high-quality user stories and acceptance criteria to guide development.
• Backlog Management: Actively participate in backlog refinement and prioritization sessions to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Product Owners, UX/UI Designers, Developers, and Architects to translate business needs into clear and implementable requirements.
• Effort Estimation & Planning: Support effort estimation and delivery planning to ensure realistic timelines and resource allocation.
• Requirement Traceability: Ensure traceability, consistency, and testability of requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• UX/UI Coordination: Coordinate with UX/UI designers to align business requirements with user experience concepts.
• Development Support: Provide ongoing support to the development team during implementation and testing phases.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of product and delivery processes.
