About the Role

In this role, you will be an active member of the Human Resources team and set the direction of Alfa Laval’s Central Europe HR Service Center.
You will lead, guide, coach, and develop the HR Shared Service Center team, ensuring excellent service delivery, efficient processes, and continuous improvement.
This position offers the opportunity to influence the future of HR operations across multiple countries and shape a customer‑focused HR service culture.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and develop the Regional HR Shared Services Team supporting Poland, Central & Eastern Europe, and the Netherlands, among other countries.
  • Lead and manage a team of HR specialists, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities.
  • Oversee day‑to‑day operations to ensure efficient and effective HR service delivery.
  • Monitor and analyze service metrics, identify improvement opportunities, and implement corrective actions.
  • Resolve complex HR cases and manage escalations promptly and professionally.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR service efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements and alignment with Alfa Laval HR policies, processes, and tools across supported countries.
  • Collaborate with internal HR stakeholders, including Centers of Excellence, local HR teams, HR Managers, IT, and the HR systems group.
  • Lead the expansion of HR Shared Services to additional countries (e.g., UK and Germany).
  • Promote a customer‑focused culture and optimize the resources and costs of the HR Shared Service Center.
  • Participate in cross‑functional projects to ensure seamless end‑to‑end HR processes from data, systems, and policy perspectives.

  • Proven managerial experience in HR Shared Services, HR Operations, or global HR project environments.
  • Experience in an international organization, ideally within HR SS/HRO environments.
  • You are a proactive, communicative change agent with drive and networking skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
  • High energy, positive attitude, and a customer‑oriented mindset.
  • Fluent spoken and written English
