Job description

We’re looking for a Referral Team Lead to build and scale our referrals and affiliate growth engine from the ground up. This is a founding, solo, hands‑on role at an early stage. You will fully own the referrals function end‑to‑end: strategy, execution, analytics, attribution, and revenue impact. Success in this role is not about relationship management alone, but about creating repeatable systems, clear partner economics, and predictable referral‑driven revenue, tightly aligned with our product and data capabilities.

As the function matures, you’ll have the opportunity to hire and lead a referrals team**.

Why this role matters:

Referrals are a core growth pillar for the business.

The next phase requires moving from:

  • ad‑hoc deals → structured programs
  • manual enablement → scalable onboarding
  • isolated wins → predictable revenue contribution

You will define referrals as a systemic growth engine, not a one‑off channel.

Tasks

Build & own the referrals system

  • Design partner tiers, commission models and incentive structures
  • Define partner ICPs and growth priorities
  • Balance scalable affiliate motion with high‑impact strategic partnerships

Hands‑on Execution

  • Source, onboard, and grow referral and affiliate partners
  • Manage key strategic partners and negotiations
  • Test new partnership hypotheses and growth levers

Analytics, attribution & performance

  • Own the full referrals funnel end‑to‑end
  • Define and track core metrics (activation, revenue per partner, LTV, contribution)
  • Ensure trusted attribution and reporting in collaboration with Product and Data
  • Identify bottlenecks using data, not assumptions

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Align with Sales on ownership, handoffs and deal overlap
  • Work with Marketing on partner enablement and messaging
  • Partner with Product and Finance on integrations, differentiation and unit economics

Future scale

  • Hire and lead a referrals team
  • Define roles, processes, and performance standards

What success looks like:

  • Predictable, growing referrals‑driven revenue
  • Clear visibility into partner performance and unit economics
  • Scalable onboarding and enablement
  • High trust in attribution and reporting
  • Referrals operating as a sustainable growth engine
Requirements

Must‑Have

  • 5+ years in referrals, affiliates, partnerships, or performance‑driven growth
  • Experience building or scaling referral/affiliate programs in B2B SaaS / MarTech / AdTech
  • Strong understanding of partner economics
  • Data‑driven, hands‑on, comfortable operating solo

Nice‑to‑Have

  • Performance marketing or affiliate ecosystem experience
  • Analytics / attribution background
  • Global partner exposure

Traits

  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Process‑ and data‑oriented
  • Clear communicator, willing to challenge assumptions
  • Resilient in a fast‑paced growth environment
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation
  • Stock option program
  • Fully remote setup with flexible working hours
  • 21 paid vacation days plus 10 personal paid holidays
  • Paid sick leave and maternity/paternity leave
  • A collaborative team culture built on ownership, clarity, and trust
  • Opportunities for professional growth, experimentation, and real impact
  • Team offsites and conference trips
