Job summary

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded
• Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts to the general ledger
• Prepare and review financial statements and reports
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial reporting and adherence to accounting policies
• Conduct periodic audits of financial records and reconcile discrepancies
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to financial transactions
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial accounting

Qualifications

• Fluency in German and a strong command of English
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in RTR
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
