Roche seeks an experienced R&D Solution Architect to join Medical Affairs within Roche Digital Technology. You will design and govern enterprise solutions across the Scientific Communications and Medical Engagement domain, shaping data models, reference architectures, and governance processes.

The role features a hybrid work model with offices on average two days per week and a strong emphasis on stakeholder collaboration, DevOps in regulated settings, and delivering digital capabilities that

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, systems engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Solution Architect experience.
• Experience designing business-driven, standards-based, future-ready solutions within a specific solution context; Pharma R&D or Pharma Commercial experience preferred.
• Experience maintaining the vision, roadmap, and current landscape for technical solutions, and assessing the impacts on risk and application landscapes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; proactive in identifying opportunities to improve value and processes.

Responsibilities

• Design solutions that meet product requirements, priorities, and enterprise standards within a specific solution context.
• Manage Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) and governance; document and evolve architecture throughout the product life cycle.
• Create Conceptual & Logical Data Models, Taxonomies, and Ontologies for solutions and interfaces.
• Define and drive reference architectures, patterns, and ensure ADRs are recorded.
• Provide guidance on technologies and roadmaps for product teams in Scientific Communications & Medical Engagement.
