Job summary

Amcor is seeking an experienced R&D Product Designer for an 11-month fixed-term contract in Poznań, Poland. The role blends creative design, project management, and technical CAD work to develop new packaging products aligning with strategic goals.

You will manage multiple projects, create specifications and prototypes, collaborate with engineering, marketing and manufacturing, and report progress to the Expert Centers team quarterly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product design and development experience
• Experience in R&D environments preferred
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, KeyShot)
• Understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Project management experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Generate innovative product concepts from market research and feedback
• Be project manager and follow stage-gate process
• Manage multiple projects with timely delivery and budgets
• Create design specs, sketches, and prototypes using CAD tools
• Collaborate with engineering, marketing and manufacturing
• Conduct product testing and iterate designs based on data
• Stay updated on industry trends and present quarterly
• Maintain documentation of design processes and progress
