Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Product Development Engineer in the AFEMEA region to drive packaging innovations and sustainability initiatives within the Global R&D framework. You will manage development programs for flexible packaging, collaborate with sales, marketing and manufacturing, and support customers with technical solutions across Europe.

The role requires a PhD/MS in relevant field, strong project leadership, and fluency in English and Polish, with up to 30% travel.

Qualifications

• PhD or MS degree in Chemistry, Polymers or Material Science.
• Experience in packaging and plastic processing.
• Experience in medical market is a plus.
• Proven track record in developing new platforms and technologies.
• Strong R&D passion and high-performance culture.
• Excellent problem-solving and prioritization skills.
• Team player with collaboration skills.
• Fluency in English and Polish (other languages a plus).

Responsibilities

• Manage development programs from idea to launch, coordinating stakeholders.
• Lead project activities and cross-functional collaboration within AFEMEA.
• Support customers with technical solutions and troubleshooting for new products.
