Hitachi Energy Poland Sp. z o.o. in Krakow recruits an Electronics Engineer to join the Valve Electronics team in MACH product development within the HVDC station portfolio.

You will contribute to hardware design, testing and reliability. The role emphasizes collaboration, hands-on lab work, and contributions across the full project lifecycle from ideas to release, with a focus on power electronics, EMC, and robust hardware for grid applications.

Qualifications

• Master/Bachelor‑level degree in Electronics Engineering or related field.
• At least 2 years of analogue circuit board design experience with DFMEA/MTBF and related tools.
• Experience in Power Electronics including topologies and magnetics for 1 kV and above.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MACH products in Valve Electronics domain to improve reliability.
• Share expertise to improve documentation, design and testing infrastructure.
• Contribute to the full lifecycle of hardware platform for Control & Protection systems from idea to release and sustainment.
• Participate in technical reviews and project planning.
