DCG seeks an R&D Lead for Classical Communication & Compute to define a forward-looking research agenda, drive architectures, and lead prototypes and collaborations across academia, startups, and industry leaders.

You will translate research into strategic network and infrastructure directions, publish findings, and contribute to IP. This role bridges research, engineering, and business with a global scope.

Qualifications

• Expertise in multiple areas (wireless, photonics, AI/HPC, distributed systems, future internet architecture).
• Experience in applied research, prototyping, or advanced tech development.
• Bridge research, engineering, and business.
• Strong network in academia/industry.
• Very good command of English (written and spoken).
• Strong systems-thinking and architectural mindset.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
• Curiosity, vision, and passion for deep tech.

Responsabilités

• Define and drive a forward-looking research agenda.
• Explore novel architectures and emerging technology paradigms.
• Develop prototypes, experiments, and technology demonstrators.
• Lead technology foresight and strategic assessments.
• Collaborate internationally with academia, startups, and industry leaders.
• Represent the company in global research and industry ecosystems.
• Translate research into future network and infrastructure strategies.
• Contribute to intellectual property generation, publications, and thought leadership.
