Job summary

DCG in Warszawa is seeking an R&D Lead for Network Capabilities to define and lead the research agenda at the intersection of networks, AI, sensing, and physical systems. You will develop concepts through prototypes and experiments while building collaborations with academia, startups, and industry partners.

The role requires strong systems thinking, excellent communication, and the ability to translate research into strategic telecom capabilities, publications, IP, and thought leadership.

Requirements:

• Expertise in areas such as network architectures, distributed AI, physical AI, sensing, cyber-physical systems, or autonomous systems
• Experience in applied research, experimentation, or advanced tech strategy
• Strong collaboration and ecosystem-building skills
• Strong systems-thinking and cross-domain mindset
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
• Passion for future technologies and transformative infrastructure

Nice to have:

• Degree in Computer Science, AI, Telecommunications, Robotics, Systems Engineering, or similar, PhD is a strong plus
