Job summary

Lundbeck GBS Krakow is seeking an experienced R&D Financial Controller to lead financial planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management for the R&D scope. You will translate plans into financial impacts, monitor costs and risks, and support portfolio decisions with robust analyses.

You will collaborate with R&D Finance and stakeholders, contribute to process improvements, and ensure high-quality business-oriented finance support across projects in the R&D organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in financial planning, performance management, controlling, financial analysis, business partnering or decision support.
• Experience in R&D/Pharma or biotech finance is preferred but not required.
• Strong ability to translate R&D information into financial implications for business decisions.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and financial reporting tools.
• Proficient spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial planning, forecasting, reporting and performance management for an assigned R&D scope.
• Translate plans into financial impacts and support portfolio decisions with analyses.
• Monitor costs, forecasts, risks and opportunities; provide scenario analyses.
• Support project valuation and investment materials as required.
• Contribute to improvements in R&D finance processes, systems and ways of working.
• Collaborate with Senior Finance Planning & Performance Leading Controller and stakeholders.
