Job description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to lead the qualification of product and process activities for our client, ensuring that all quality, reliability, and robustness requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle. The role involves coordinating project quality deliverables, managing risk, ensuring compliance with standards, and maintaining strong communication with customer quality teams.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all project quality activities and ensure compliance with standards and customer-specific requirements (CSR).
  • Maintain direct communication with customer quality representatives and support plant quality teams.
  • Lead quality deliverables, moderate FMEA reviews, define control plans, and coordinate PPAP submissions.
  • Manage non-conformities, handle customer complaints, drive corrective actions, and document lessons learned.
  • Identify and elevate quality risks; stop production or development when required.
  • Conduct audits and support functional safety activities as requested by OEMs.
  • Deploy quality tools, train project teams, and ensure timely APQP implementation.
  • Report adherence to methodologies and drive continuous improvement aligned with ISO9001, IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO50001.
Requirements
  • Master’s degree in mechanical, mechatronics, or materials engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive industry experience.
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, IATF16949, and quality tools (FMEA, 8D, SPC, DOE, MSA).
  • Skills in problem-solving, APQP, GD&T, and SPC.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Fluent English (German advantageous).
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%.
