Job summary

StoneX Group Inc. seeks a hands-on Test Lead to shape quality engineering strategy for the NeXus program. You will assess maturity, define scalable test architecture, and align testing with modern SDLC practices to enable faster, safer service delivery.

You will lead governance, establish standards, and coach QA engineers to raise engineering bar while unifying tools and languages across teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Test Lead, QA Lead, or senior QA leader in complex product environments.
• Hands-on automation architecture and strategy across UI, API, and integration testing.
• Ability to govern scalable test frameworks and standards across teams.
• Strong mentoring and technical leadership without direct line management.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD integration and shift-left testing.

Responsibilities

• Assess current test maturity across technology, tooling, automation, standards, governance, and delivery practices.
• Analyze existing QA/testing processes to identify bottlenecks, risks, and inefficiencies.
• Define and implement a target-state test architecture aligned with engineering goals.
• Define service-level test strategy covering UI, API, integration, contract, regression, visual, and non-functional testing.
• Align testing practices with SDLC, CI/CD, and delivery models.
• Lead tool and language unification to improve consistency and cost efficiency.
• Drive shift-left adoption by embedding quality early in refinement and design.
• Improve local and CI feedback loops for rapid development of independent services.
• Establish testing standards and guardrails for framework design, data, and reporting.
• Improve test determinism and reliability through mocking and stable regression runs.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and reviews for QA engineers across teams.
• Own the test framework roadmap and ensure safe rollout of changes.
• Introduce quality metrics, dashboards, and traceability across coverage and release readiness.
• Partner with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product, and Architecture to execute the roadmap.
