Job summary

beqom is seeking a Mid-level Software Engineer in Test to strengthen quality across our QA team. You'll build and maintain the automation framework that underpins testing for a product used at scale by large enterprise customers.

You'll work closely with the Product Manager to define acceptance criteria for new features, and with fellow engineers through code review, so quality is built into every release rather than checked at the end.

Qualifications

• Must have clear, effective test case writing.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks.
• Experience testing APIs.
• Experience writing and maintaining automation tests.
• Experience troubleshooting issues and SQL.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
• Strong communication and collaborative team approach.
• Ability to analyze complex problems quickly.
• Structured, solution-oriented work approach.
• Working knowledge of Agile software development.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the test automation framework.
• Build new automation tests across UI and API (and Mobile).
• Review pull requests to uphold code quality.
• Define acceptance criteria with the Product Manager.
• Reproduce and diagnose production tickets.
• Document test results for every release.
