Job summary

BlackLine, a leading finance SaaS platform, is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer in Test to automate tests for web, mobile, and RESTful APIs, ensuring high‑quality releases across the stack.

You will drive automation coverage, build mobile automation with Appium, test hybrid/native apps, and help scale the QE framework in a cloud environment. Ideal candidates have 7+ years in web/mobile/SaaS testing, proficiency in C#/.NET, strong SQL skills, and experience with CI/CD and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in Web, Mobile, SaaS, and RESTful API testing.
• 7+ years in test automation development; building suites from scratch.
• Proficient in C# with .NET core; NUnit/XUnit/MSTest experience.
• Hands-on testing of iOS/Android hybrid/native apps with Appium/Selendroid.
• Experience with CI/CD to run regression tests (Appium/Selendroid).
• Strong SQL knowledge: stored procedures, data models, transactions.
• FinTech/financial services background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create Web, Mobile App and API automation using existing frameworks to expand coverage.
• Build mobile automation for iOS/Android using Appium.
• Test hybrid/native mobile apps and APIs in SaaS environment.
• Enhance the Automation Regression Test Harness and maintain it.
• Work with device farms/emulators for testing at scale.
• Lead QE initiatives and mentor QE team members as the team grows.
