Job summary

BELVEDERE is seeking a Senior QA Engineer to drive test automation across API, database and web applications in Warsaw on a 6-month, on-site contract. You will develop automated testing frameworks, implement quality guardrails within CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure release readiness.

The ideal candidate has 8-10 years of QA experience, strong JavaScript (v17+), and hands-on expertise with TestNG, Cucumber, Selenium and Playwright.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years in QA and test automation.
• Strong JavaScript (version 17+).
• Experience with TestNG & Cucumber (Java).
• Hands-on Selenium and Playwright experience.
• Experience CI/CD with GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps.
• Experience in regulated environments (GxP, SOX, healthcare).
• Fluency in Polish and English.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (version 17 or higher)
• Proven experience developing automated tests using TestNG and Cucumber (Java)
• Hands‑on expertise with Selenium and Playwright
• Experience testing API, database and web applications
• Practical knowledge of test management tools such as ALM and Jira Xray
• Strong understanding of unit testing, sanity testing and regression testing methodologies
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps
• Proficiency using Git and collaborative development workflows
• Experience working in regulated environments such as GxP, SOX, pharmaceutical, healthcare or life sciences
• Fluency in Polish and English
• Experience with Docker (desirable)
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including Azure or GCP (desirable)
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana (desirable)
• Experience operating enterprise performance testing platforms (desirable)
• Knowledge of automation testing as code principles (desirable)
• Understanding of contract testing and API quality practices (desirable)
