Job summary

Nord Security is seeking a mid or senior QA Automation Engineer to join MUSE, a multiplatform team ensuring NordPass quality across web, extensions, Electron apps and mobile platforms.

You will design, build and maintain automated tests, work with product managers and developers, and mentor teammates while driving quality improvements and reducing flaky tests. Flexible work options available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on test automation for web/desktop/mobile.
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript skills.
• Hands-on with Playwright or similar (page objects, fixtures, cross-browser).
• Experience testing REST APIs (Postman or Playwright API).
• Experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for tests.
• Knowledge of test design: pyramid, risk-based testing, data management.
• Proficiency with Git and Node.js tooling.
• Experience using AI coding tools.
• Attention to detail and a love of breaking things.
• Clear written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated E2E, API, integration and regression tests.
• Write automated tests across platforms: web, extensions, Electron desktop apps and native mobile apps.
• Report defects and collaborate with developers to fix them.
• Work with product managers, engineers and QA to test plans and strategy.
• Reduce flaky tests, increase coverage and raise quality standards.
• Review code and mentor junior team members.
