BELVEDERE in Wrocław is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer to support large-scale platform modernisation across order and trade management systems. You will build and maintain automation frameworks for Spring Boot services, REST APIs and cloud-native architectures, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality across complex rewrites and upgrades.

You will design comprehensive test suites, validate APIs and microservices, and integrate automated tests into CI/CD

Formación

• 8-10 years of hands-on QA automation experience with Java or another OO language.
• Proven experience testing Spring Boot services, REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong knowledge of positive, negative, boundary and error-handling test scenarios.
• Expertise with automation testing tools including Selenium, Playwright and database technologies.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establishing quality gates.
• Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams on platform modernisation.

Responsabilidades

• Design and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test components for application rewrites and platform upgrades.
• Build comprehensive test suites covering functional, regression, integration, API, UI, smoke and end-to-end scenarios.
• Validate REST APIs, microservices, data flows and business rules across modernised systems.
• Implement API automation using REST Assured, Postman/Newman or similar tools.
• Develop UI automation using Selenium, Playwright, Cypress or equivalent frameworks.
• Embed automated tests within CI/CD pipelines and establish quality gates to support reliable releases.
• Create test strategies, test plans, traceability matrices, test data and environment readiness documentation.
• Investigate defects, perform triage and root cause analysis in collaboration with development and business teams.
• Enhance automation coverage, execution speed and stability by reducing flaky tests and applying coding standards.
• Report quality risks, dependencies, blockers and release readiness status to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
