Job summary

Greatjob is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our development team in Poland. You will design, develop, and execute test cases, and work closely with our developers to ensure quality across web and mobile applications.

You will build and maintain automated tests, report defects, and contribute to test strategy and CI/CD practices. The role requires strong analytical skills, communication, and a commitment to delivering reliable software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience in designing and executing test cases for web, mobile, or enterprise software.
• Familiar with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Proficient with bug tracking and test management tools.
• Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on requirements and design specifications.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to identify software defects and ensure product quality.
• Collaborate with the development team to understand product requirements and provide input on testability, usability, and quality aspects.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and issues using bug tracking tools, and work closely with developers to resolve them.
• Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of testing processes.
• Conduct root cause analysis of defects and provide suggestions for improvement to prevent similar issues in the future.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software products.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.
