Job summary

Experis is hiring for a remote QA role focused on API and UI testing to support a journalism platform's modernization. You will design and execute test cases, automate UI tests with Cypress, and validate APIs using Postman within a Cloud-based, Java backend/React frontend environment.

The project aims to migrate to a new architecture with strong CI/CD practices and a focus on automation, quality, and reliability for journalists reporting their work.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in API Testing.
• 3+ years of experience in UI Testing.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Cypress.
• 3+ years of experience with Postman.

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases.
• Develop and enhance UI test automation using Cypress.
• Perform API testing using Postman/Newman.
• Participate in CI/CD testing activities.
• Contribute to improving and consolidating the automation framework.
