AgileEngine is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to a follow-the-sun DevSecOps pod, writing Python scripts to integrate SAST, DAST, and SCA gates into CI/CD pipelines and tuning scanners to reduce false positives. You will deploy automated hardened baselines and provide code‑level remediation guidance to development teams, with minimal supervision on complex tasks.

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong Python skills for automation and scripting.
• Working knowledge of modern CI/CD orchestration and security tooling.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision on complex scripting and integration tasks.
• Upper–intermediate English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate security gates (SAST/DAST/SCA) into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Continuously tune security scanners to reduce false positives and improve alerts.
• Assist in deploying automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Collaborate with product teams to provide code‑level remediation guidance in Java and Python.
