Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute hands-on to a follow-the-sun DevSecOps pod, writing Python scripts to integrate security gates into CI/CD pipelines and tuning scanning tools for quality and efficiency.

You will deploy automated hardened baselines and provide code-level remediation guidance to development teams, working with minimal supervision on complex scripting and integration tasks, with 3–5 years of experience and strong Python proficiency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong Python scripting for automation and tooling.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools.
• Experience with vulnerability scoring frameworks (e.g., CVSS).
• Ability to deliver code-level remediation guidance with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate SAST/DAST/SCA gates into CI/CD pipelines.
• Tune security scanners to reduce false positives and improve alert quality.
• Assist in deploying automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Provide actionable remediation guidance to product teams in Java and Python.
