Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a Software Engineer to join a follow-the-sun DevSecOps pod, writing Python scripts to integrate SAST/DAST/ SCA gates into CI/CD pipelines and tune scanners to reduce false positives. You’ll deploy automated hardened baselines and deliver code-level remediation guidance with minimal supervision.

Requirements include 3-5 years in software engineering, strong Python, and CI/CD familiarity, plus upper-intermediate English. Remote and office hybrid work options are available.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong Python for automation and scripting.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools and vulnerability scoring frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate security gates into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Tune security scanning tools to reduce false positives and improve alert quality.
• Assist in coding and deploying automated hardened baselines and secure patterns.
• Provide code-level remediation guidance to development teams in Java and Python.
