Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to a follow-the-sun DevSecOps pod, writing Python scripts to embed SAST, DAST, and SCA gates into CI/CD pipelines and tune scanners to minimize false positives. Lightweight supervision is expected on complex scripting and integration tasks.

The role requires 3–5 years of software engineering experience with strong Python skills and CI/CD familiarity, collaborating with development teams for remediation guidance across Java and Python.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Solid coding proficiency in Python for automation and scripting.
• Working knowledge of modern CI/CD orchestration tools and vulnerability scoring frameworks.
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision on complex scripting and integration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain scripts to integrate SAST/DAST/SCA into CI/CD pipelines.
• Tune security scanning tools to reduce false positives and improve alert quality.
• Assist in deploying automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Collaborate with product teams to provide actionable remediation guidance in Java and Python.
