Job summary
Hitachi Energy in Poland is seeking a Python Developer to design, develop and maintain software for transformer engineering workflows, working with global specialists and modern engineering practices to deliver scalable applications.
The ideal candidate has a BSc or MSc in CS or related field, 3+ years of Python development, and experience with PySide, wxPython or Tkinter; strong analytical skills and knowledge of OO programming are important.
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Electronics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in Python development.
- Experience with at least one Python GUI framework such as PySide, wxPython, or Tkinter.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of software engineering best practices.
- Experience with object-oriented programming principles.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality software using Python.
- Analyze business and technical requirements.
- Translate customer needs into software solutions.
- Improve automation and unit test coverage.
- Collaborate with software engineers, QA teams, and product managers.
