Job summary

MindPal is seeking a Backend Developer (Python) for long-term B2B cooperation to build reliable backends across education, energy and other technology-driven sectors. The role may involve in-person project coordination in Gliwice on a hybrid basis.

You will develop and maintain Python backends, design data models, and work on APIs, performance, reliability and security while collaborating with engineers on architecture decisions and reviews.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of commercial backend development experience.
• Solid Python experience and practical knowledge of a Python backend framework.
• Good understanding of REST APIs, relational databases and software design.
• Familiarity with Git and Docker.
• Ability to solve technical problems independently within an agreed scope.
• English and Polish at B2 level or higher.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services, APIs and integrations in Python.
• Design business logic, data models and database solutions.
• Improve performance, reliability and security.
• Contribute to code reviews, technical consultations and architecture discussions.
• Nice to Have: Experience with EdTech or education-related products is welcome but not required.
• Nice to Have: Experience with AI integrations, automation or data processing.
