Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC. in Szczecin, Poland, seeks a Python Application Security Engineer to automate security controls across CI/CD pipelines.

You will implement SAST/DAST/SCA gates and tune security tooling in collaboration with product teams. The role requires 3–5 years of software engineering experience, strong Python scripting, and hands-on knowledge of CI/CD orchestration and vulnerability scoring frameworks.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Proficient in Python for automation and scripting.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD orchestration tools and vulnerability scoring frameworks.
• AppSec tooling expertise or security architecture.
• Ability to operate with minimal supervision on day-to-day execution, reliably completing complex scripting and integration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Pipeline Integration: Write and maintain the scripts necessary to integrate security gates (SAST, DAST, SCA) into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Security Data Triage: Tune and configure existing security scanning tools to eliminate false positives and deliver high-confidence alerts.
• Baseline Automation: Assist in coding and deploying automated hardened baselines and secure coding patterns.
• Code-Level Remediation: Provide actionable, code-level remediation guidance in Java and Python to product teams.
