We are looking for an experienced Indirect Purchasing Manager to join our team and take responsibility for local indirect procurement activities in line with the company’s global procurement strategy.
In this role, you will manage local suppliers and indirect procurement categories, drive cost savings, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and continuously improve purchasing processes. You will work closely with the Group Procurement team as well as key stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement global procurement strategies and category plans at the local level, ensuring compliance with company policies and processes.
- Manage local suppliers, including sourcing, negotiations, contracts, supplier performance, and ongoing relationship management.
- Drive cost-saving and value-creation initiatives in line with global procurement targets.
- Monitor supplier performance and key procurement KPIs, including savings, compliance, and DPO.
- Act as the main point of contact for procurement-related topics locally and build strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, tools, and ways of working.
- Support the implementation of the Source-to-Pay (S2P) platform - Coupa, including local testing, training, and process implementation.
- Collaborate with the Group Procurement team and relevant departments to ensure alignment between local needs and global procurement objectives.
- Ensure compliance with applicable quality, safety, environmental, ethical, and company requirements.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in indirect procurement, with a good understanding of procurement strategies and category management.
- Proven experience in supplier management, sourcing, and negotiations.
- Ability to implement global strategies in a local environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and processes.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across different departments and organizational levels.
- Experience in cost-saving initiatives and a good understanding of financial metrics like DPO and their impact on procurement decisions.
- Ability to manage procurement projects and drive continuous process improvement.
- Proficiency in English and the local language.
- Experience with procurement systems or Source-to-Pay platforms (e.g. Coupa) would be an advantage.
