Job summary

ICEYE is seeking a Propulsion Operations Engineer in Warsaw, Poland to support the orbit control domain and propulsion systems across ICEYE’s satellite fleet. You will work with hardware suppliers and operations teams to keep propulsion running safely both in orbit and on the ground, from commissioning to routine operations and anomaly response.

The role sits in the Attitude and Orbit Control domain, offering exposure across propulsion lifecycle, including commissioning, orbit raising, anomaly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physics, Aerospace, Electrical, or related field.
• Basic understanding of orbital dynamics.
• Basic understanding of electric propulsion fundamentals.
• Experience with electric propulsion in analytic contexts (thesis, project).
• Working knowledge of Python and Git.

Responsibilities

• Oversee propulsion operations, including commissioning and orbit raising activities.
• Handle on-orbit and on-ground propulsion anomalies with hardware suppliers.
• Contribute to propulsion verification activities on ground.
• Assist in defining and improving propulsion operational procedures.
