Job summary

Wood Thilsted in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking an experienced Project Planner to support major offshore wind design projects across Europe and Asia. You will report to the Head of Project Excellence and Governance and collaborate with project managers and engineers.

This role focuses on schedule management in Primavera P6/OPC and MS Project, proactive risk governance, and client communication. The ideal candidate will have international project experience, fluent English, and strong teamwork, with

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate major WTG and OSS foundation design projects with global teams.
  • Maintain schedules in Primavera P6/OPC and MS Project, update progress.
  • Report progress to clients with accurate data in a concise manner.
  • Support Steering Committee meetings with transparency on schedule risks.
  • Forecast resource demands and align allocations with project needs.

Due to our continued success and growth, we are searching for an experienced Project Planner to be a part of the Wood Thilsted team and to support the future development of the company.

As our new Project Planner, you will be involved in major design projects throughout Europe and Asia. You will report to the Head of Project Excellence and Governance, and you will be working in close collaboration with project managers across our project delivery and engineering teams.

Planning is one of the key success factors in delivering complex offshore wind projects and structured governance, transparent reporting, and proactive risk management directly influence project performance and decision-making. You will not only manage schedules but act as a trusted partner to project management-driving alignment across technical disciplines and client interfaces.

Our project portfolio consists of a large number of small and medium-sized projects and a few large multidisciplinary projects. Your main focus will be on the larger complex projects, but you will also be managing sub- portfolios.

Areas of accountability

will include to work closely with Project Managers to successfully deliver and coordinate major WTG and OSS foundation design projects in collaboration with global in-house technical teams. In your role you will:

  • Maintain projectschedulesinPrimavera P6/OPCandMS Project,updating progress,creating transparencyabout the critical path,maintaining baselines, running analysis on possible scenarios of project execution.
  • Maintain pro- active communication with our project managers,work package leads and project support teamsas well as with clients to ensure that project programmesare aligned continuously with all project stakeholders.
  • Togetherwith the project manager follow up on internal progress of all disciplines in a projectand support issuing of regular progress reports withaccurate and valid data to clients in a concise andtimely manner.
  • Support Project Steering Committee meetingsby creating transparency around schedule risks as basis for decision-making.
  • Help the project teamsforecasting resource demands and assuring thatallocated resources to the project are in line with constant changes of project time-schedule.

The primary work location will be Warsaw in Poland, with the opportunity to spend a portion of your week working from home. You should expect some travelling in relation to your work.

Your background

Proficiency in Polish will be considered an advantage.

Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have:
  • Experience from consulting engineering, preferably from the offshore wind industry.
  • Several years of experience in using Primavera OPC or Primavera P6 software.
  • Knowledge of other software: Excel, MS Project is a plus.
