Societe Generale S.A. Warsaw Branch is seeking a Senior Project Manager - French speaker to lead transformation initiatives within the Global Support Function of the Investment Banking division.

You will coordinate cross-functional projects and report to sponsors on business and IT initiatives. You should have 5+ years in project management within finance or consulting, with strong leadership and experience in Agile, Lean, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in financial institutions or consulting firms.
• Strong understanding of Investment Banking; IT project exposure is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership with Agile, Lean, and Lean Six Sigma approaches.
• Excellent relationship-building, organization, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to work in dynamic environments and adapt quickly.

Responsibilities

Societe Generale S.A. Warsaw Branch is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager - French speaker to join our Transformation Project Office. This role will contribute to the strategic initiatives and transformation of the Global Support Function within the Investment Banking division. As a Senior Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage and coordinate projects across various business areas, including Global Operating Model, Operational Efficiency, Financial Steering, organizational transformation, innovation projects, and business projects. You will be working closely with stakeholders and reporting to sponsors on business or IT initiatives. Your future scope of responsibility will cover:

• Managing and coordinating projects independently, contributing to global initiatives within an international project management community
• Aligning project objectives with stakeholder expectations, managing governance and providing regular reporting to sponsors across business and IT initiatives
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives while supporting knowledge sharing and collaboration across the project management community
• Contributing to cross-functional initiatives, including CSR and communication-related projects

Profile required

You will be best suited for this role if:

• You have at least 5 years of project management experience gained within financial institutions and/or consulting firms
• You possess a strong understanding of the Investment Banking environment and experience contributing to complex business projects delivery; exposure to IT-related projects would be an asset
• You have demonstrated project leadership capabilities, supported by Agile, Lean, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies
• You are an excellent relationship builder with strong organizational skills, a positive mindset, and the ability to engage stakeholders and tailor your communication style to different audiences
• You thrive in dynamic and challenging environments, demonstrating adaptability, agility, and the ability to operate effectively in task-force mode
• You are curious, proactive, and results oriented
• You have an academic background, preferably you hold a Master's degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field
