Energy Jobline ZR is recruiting a Project Manager (Utilities) to lead utility infrastructure projects from planning through delivery in a hybrid London setting. The role requires coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and regulators to meet project goals and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in utilities project management, PMP certification, and strong budgeting, scheduling, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in project management within the utilities industry (electric, gas, water, or renewable energy)
• PMP certification is required
• Experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources for multi-million-dollar projects
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of utility infrastructure projects, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with company objectives
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans including scope, budget, schedule and risk assessments
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and regulators for seamless project execution
• Manage stakeholder expectations with clear communication on milestones, risks and deliverables
• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and metrics
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards
• Oversee procurement processes including contractor selection and contract management
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to prevent disruptions
• Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers and teams
• Report progress to senior management and key stakeholders

Job Description Project Manager (Utilities) - London £50,000 - £65,000 P.a (DOE) Hybrid working Annual tax free bonus

Our client is a well established Utilities consultancy who support developers, landowners, and investors in navigating the complexities of utility infrastructure across the full project lifecycle. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Project Manager to join our team and support the delivery of utility coordination and procurement strategies on a range of development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of utility infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company objectives.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, budget, schedule, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Manage stakeholder expectations by providing clear communication on project milestones, risks, and deliverables.
• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools, metrics, and methodologies.
• Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Oversee procurement processes, including contractor selection and contract management.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues to prevent disruptions.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior project managers and project teams.
• Report on project progress to senior management and key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in project coordination or a similar role.
