Job summary

ZF Group in Warsaw, Poland, is seeking a Project Manager for Operational Readiness to lead end-to-end deployment of digital solutions. You will shape project plans, coordinate with multiple departments, and drive readiness across regions.

The role requires 8+ years in project management within transformations, strong KPI and finance collaboration, and excellent communication in English. Occasional global travel is expected; the position supports a hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of project management experience in operational readiness or related transformations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin or related field; PMP/Prince2 desirable.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects with Finance and other control functions.
• Familiar with Order-to-Cash, Service Delivery, Customer Onboarding processes.
• Strong ability to define KPIs and collaborate with Finance on process design.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels.
• Fluent in English; willingness to travel globally.

• Design and implement change management for new processes and technologies, including customer support readiness.
• Collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Service, Legal, Corporate IT, and Finance to ensure alignment and execution.
• Provide clear status updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders to maintain alignment.

What you can look forward to as Project Manager Operational Readiness (m/f/d):

• Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and deliverables, ensuring clear milestones and deadlines
• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of projects that enhance operational readiness, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and key financial considerations
• Develop and standardize the O2C process design methodology framework, coordinating with business stakeholders on design, rollout, contingency plans, engagement, and continuous improvement
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks or inefficiencies in the operational setup, leveraging KPIs to monitor performance and drive continuous improvement
• Maintain thorough documentation of readiness processes, including lessons learned for future projects
• Design and implement change management strategies to support teams in adapting to new processes and technologies, and establish processes for customer support readiness, distribution management, warranty handling, and partner/supplier onboarding
• Collaborate with internal departments such as Product, Sales, Customer Service, Legal, Corporate IT, and Finance to ensure seamless execution, with focus on financial alignment where relevant
• Ensure clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and issues to maintain alignment

Your Profile as Project Manager Operational Readiness (m/f/d):

• Minimum of 8 years of project management experience, with a focus on operational readiness, process improvement, or business transformation projects
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, with PMP, Prince2, or other project management certifications highly desirable
• Proven experience in managing cross-functional projects with complex deliverables, including strong interaction with Finance and other control functions, ideally in an operational or service-focused environment
• Familiarity with operational readiness concepts, systems, and processes (e.g., Order-to-Cash, Service Delivery, Customer Onboarding)
• Strong understanding of financial implications within operational processes, with the ability to define KPIs and collaborate closely with Finance on process design
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in parallel
• Fluent in English, additional language skills (e.g., French, German) are a plus, combined with a willingness to travel globally
