Job summary

Winged IT is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a leading global biotech company’s strategic digital transformation within its Global Customer Support organization. This is a business-oriented PM role focused on planning, governance, stakeholder coordination and change management rather than hands-on delivery.

You will lead day-to-day execution, develop integrated plans, coordinate multinational teams, monitor progress, manage risks and ensure governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional project management experience in global or strategic transformation projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field.
• Proven end-to-end project lifecycle management.
• PMI/PMBOK, Agile, Scrum or Lean experience; PMP a plus.
• Experience with governance frameworks and phase-gate methodologies.
• Experience with Monday.com, Jira, ServiceNow or similar tools.
• Ability to coordinate multinational, cross-functional teams in a matrix organization.
• Strong stakeholder management and senior-management collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project execution, translating strategic objectives into clear plans, milestones, deliverables and tasks.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans with schedules, resources, dependencies and workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional and international teams for alignment and timely delivery.
• Monitor progress against agreed scope, timelines, resources and quality.
• Identify, assess and manage risks, issues and dependencies; escalate when needed.
• Ensure compliance with governance frameworks and phase-gate requirements.
• Organize and facilitate meetings, steering committee updates and stakeholder discussions.
• Prepare clear project status reports with progress, milestones and decisions.
• Maintain project documentation and promote effective use of PM tools.
• Support change management to adopt new digital solutions across global teams.

Your role is:

• Support organizational change management activities to facilitate successful adoption of new digital solutions across global teams.

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years of professional project management experience, preferably in global, complex or strategic transformation projects.
• Higher education in Business Administration, Information Technology, Management or a related field.
• Proven experience managing projects throughout their full lifecycle, from planning and initiation to execution, monitoring and closure.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including PMI/PMBOK, Agile, Scrum or Lean; PMP or equivalent certification would be an advantage.
• Experience working with structured project governance frameworks, project documentation and phase-gate methodologies.
• Practical knowledge of project management and collaboration tools, preferably Monday.com, Jira, ServiceNow or similar platforms.
• Experience coordinating multinational, cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams in a matrix organizational environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including cooperation with senior management, project sponsors and steering committees.
• Excellent planning, prioritization, problem-solving and risk management capabilities.
• Ability to translate complex requirements and ambiguous situations into structured plans, clear responsibilities and actionable solutions.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Proactive, hands-on approach, with a strong sense of ownership, accountability and delivery focus.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining alignment with overall project strategy and business objectives.
• Fluent English (minimum C1), both written and spoken; Polish or German would be an additional advantage.
• Flexibility to collaborate with international teams across different time zones.
