Job summary

Peak Outsourcing is seeking a Technical DEVOps/Infrastructure Project Manager to lead server and cloud infrastructure initiatives remotely from Makati. The role requires hands-on DevOps with Kubernetes, virtualization, and security awareness.

Strong project management, stakeholder communication, and familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methods are essential. You will drive roadmaps, manage budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams, ensuring on-track delivery and proactive problem solving

Qualifications

• Experience managing Windows and Linux servers.
• Hands-on virtualization with VMware and Hyper-V.
• Knowledge of AWS/Azure/GC cloud platforms.
• Knowledge of storage systems (NFS, NetApp, SAN, NAS).
• Strong networking fundamentals and security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Create Infrastructure Roadmaps with budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.

Technical DEVOps/INFRASTRUCTURE Project Manager

1. Technical Knowledge

• Server Management: Experience in managing servers (Windows, Linux.), virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Storage Management: Knowledge of storage systems, including NFS, NetApp, SAN, NAS, and cloud storage solutions.
• Databases: Understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL, Oracle) and their integration with infrastructure.
• Networking: A good understanding of networking concepts such as IP addressing, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing.
• Automation and Scripting-Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell) to automate infrastructure management tasks.

2. DEVOPs - DevOps and Kubernetes experience is a must.

• Thorough understanding and hands-on experience on Kubernetes and maintaining DevOps environments is a must.

3. Project Management Skills

• Ability to create Infrastructure Roadmaps, manage medium and large-scale infrastructure projects, including budgeting, timelines, resource allocation.
• Timelines on projects and keeping the team accountable is very important. Daily follow-up to keep team on-track with the plan
• Excellent Stakeholder communication with technical and business teams, prioritization of tasks and proper management of the team
• Experience with project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall, experience in JIRA and Confluence

4. Troubleshooting of Infrastructure issues and proactive plan for smooth implementation

• Strong analytical skills to identify, diagnose, and resolve infrastructure-related issues quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to foresee potential problems and proactively address them.

5. Security Awareness

• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and risk management strategies to protect the infrastructure from external and internal threats.
• Familiarity with tools and processes for monitoring and securing the infrastructure (e.g., firewalls, encryption, IDS/IPS).
