CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Project Management Associate Director to lead end-to-end delivery of a complex transformation portfolio from its Warsaw-based hub. You will mentor Senior Project Managers, embed governance, and ensure scalable PMO standards across the function.

In this 12-month fixed-term role, you will partner with transformation leadership to refine reporting, improve methodologies, and raise delivery quality in line with organizational objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3–5 years in a leadership role at Senior Manager grade or above.
• Experience in managing, coaching and developing a team.
• Ability to operate credibly with senior stakeholders and executives.

About the Role

As Project Management Associate Director you will lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex portfolio of transformation projects while championing our established governance frameworks and PMO standards. You will provide strategic oversight and active mentorship to a team of Senior Project Managers, fostering a high-performance culture and raising the bar for delivery excellence across the entire function. By partnering closely with transformation leadership, you will continuously refine our reporting and methodology to ensure they remain scalable, efficient, and aligned with organizational objectives.

This role is for 12 months fixed term contract.

What You’ll Do

• Lead end-to-end project management across a complex portfolio of transformation projects, applying the established programme delivery methodology and governance framework.
• Hold accountability for the overall delivery health of the portfolio, providing active oversight and challenge across all workstreams
• Line manage and develop a team of Senior Project Managers, providing regular coaching, guidance and performance feedback.
• Set clear expectations for delivery standards, reporting quality and stakeholder engagement across the PM team.
• Support the onboarding and integration of new team members, accelerating their effectiveness within the programme methodology.
• Build team capability in programme delivery, governance and stakeholder management, raising the overall quality of the PM function.
• Act as the first point of escalation for Senior PMs facing delivery challenges, providing experienced guidance and decision support.
• Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture within a predominantly Warsaw-based working environment.
• Own and continuously improve the programme delivery methodology, governance framework and project management standards applied across all projects.
• Ensure consistent application of PMO standards across the PM team, identifying gaps and driving remediation.
• Lead the design and maintenance of cross-portfolio reporting frameworks, ensuring outputs are fit for purpose at every governance level.
• Drive PMO process improvement, identifying inefficiencies and implementing solutions that increase delivery quality and reduce overhead.
• Partner closely with the wider transformation leadership to ensure consistent project management standards, reporting and governance across the broader transformation portfolio

What You’ll Need

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years in a leadership role at Senior Manager grade or above — not just as a strong individual contributor but as someone who has been accountable for a team's performance.
• Demonstrated experience managing, coaching and developing a team - hiring, setting expectations, giving feedback and developing capability in others is a must.
• Proven ability to operate credibly at senior stakeholder and executive level — not just presenting to them, but managing relationships, handling difficult conversations and influencing decisions.
• Experience acting as the senior delivery escalation point
