Job description

PROJECT

To support an Electronic Head Unit , we are seeking an experienced Mechanical CAD Engineer with a strong background in automotive electronic hardware design. The role requires deep technical knowledge, advanced CAD skills, and the ability to design robust mechanical solutions for high-performance electronic devices.

YOU WILL

• Design mechanical components and assemblies for automotive Electronic Head Units
• Work with sheet metal, plastic, and die-cast technologies
• Use Siemens NX (NX11 / NX12) to create high-quality CAD models
• Collaborate closely with internal and external engineering teams
• Apply design requirements to prevent EMC and ESD issues
• Consider heat dissipation and thermal requirements in mechanical design
• Manage and maintain product data within Teamcenter
• Apply GD&T standards in documentation and development
• Support project activities and attend on-site workshops when required

MUST HAVE

• An engineering degree in Electronics or a similar field
• 5+ years of experience in the automotive industry
• Strong background in automotive electronic hardware and mechanical design
• 5+ years of Siemens NX11 / NX12 experience
• Experience in sheet metal, die-cast, and plastic component design
• Practical knowledge of Teamcenter
• Understanding of EMC and ESD design considerations
• Experience with thermal behaviour and heat dissipation in ECUs / Head Units
• Strong knowledge of GD&T principles
• Very good written and spoken English skills
• Strong team orientation

NICE TO HAVE

• Experience with mass-production industrialization
• Background in automotive infotainment products
• Familiarity with design for reliability and durability testing
• Knowledge of automotive standards and OEM requirements
