Project Delivery Manager (Technology & Cyber Security Delivery)
Contract: B2B Engagement
Duration: 12 months (extension possible)
Rate: €425 to €500 per day
Location: Poland, Fully Remote
About the role
Our client, a global consumer healthcare organisation, is looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to lead the delivery of technology and cyber security initiatives across its Digital & Technology function.
This is a unified role covering two domains: technology delivery aligned to the CTO organisation, and security and risk delivery aligned to the CISO organisation. You'll drive governance, planning, reporting and operational oversight across a portfolio of "Run and Maintain" initiatives, such as multi-country platform rollouts and data privacy programmes.
If you're comfortable in structured enterprise environments, spot risks early, and can turn complex technical and security topics into clear, decision-ready insight for senior leaders, this is for you.
What you'll do
- Own delivery of assigned projects from initiation to closure using Waterfall or hybrid frameworks
- Build and maintain plans, milestones, dependencies and critical paths, and manage change transparently
- Support stage gates and audits, keeping governance artefacts and controls in order
- Identify, manage and elevate risks, issues and dependencies, with clearly owned mitigation actions
- Act as the main point of contact for business, technology and supplier stakeholders
- Manage third-party supplier delivery against timelines, quality and contractual expectations
- Manage budgets and forecasts within delegated authority, partnering with Finance
- Deliver accurate, decision-focused reporting to portfolio, performance and assurance forums
- Give clear visibility of the end-to-end security portfolio alongside technology delivery
- Bring security into project lifecycles early, so controls enable delivery rather than slow it
- Support the safe adoption of AI and Agentic AI through structured governance and risk management
- Translate cyber and technology risk into business language for executives
What you'll bring
- Proven experience delivering projects in Digital, Technology or Change environments
- Strong grounding in structured delivery approaches (Waterfall or hybrid)
- Experience managing risks, dependencies and expectations in complex, matrixed environments without direct reporting lines
- Experience facilitating governance forums and preparing leadership-level reporting and presentations
- Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent English (the role works with international stakeholders)
- Technology: infrastructure and platform services, cloud, technology operations, enterprise service management, digital workplace, platform engineering, managed service providers and transformation programmes
- Cyber security and risk: IAM, Zero Trust, Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, Data Protection, Security Architecture, Third-Party Risk and Incident Response. Microsoft security experience (Defender, Sentinel, Entra, Purview) is highly desirable.
Nice to have:
- Experience in enterprise portfolio and governance frameworks
- Exposure to regulated, operational or large-scale environments
- PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent certification
- Experience with large-scale cyber security transformation and risk-based prioritisation
- Practical experience supporting AI programmes through governance and risk frameworks (AI Governance Operating Models, Responsible AI controls, AI Risk Assessments, Privacy Impact Assessments)
What success looks like:
Projects delivered with few surprises, risks surfaced early, stakeholders with clear visibility of progress and decisions, and leadership able to intervene sooner and decide faster.
