Job summary

Across Clocks is seeking a Project Coordinator – CAD, Conceptual Design & Technology to support a U.S.-based construction company with preliminary planning, project documentation, visual concepts, and technology-driven workflow support.

The role focuses on turning basic project information into organized preliminary layouts and schematic/conceptual information, with no sole responsibility for final architectural design.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of linear dimensions, measurements, length, width, and basic building geometry.
• Ability to take dimensions and create an accurate building/property footprint or preliminary layout.
• Practical CAD/drafting ability for developing basic 2D plans and conceptual layouts.
• Ability to develop preliminary schematic and conceptual information that can be handed off for further design development.
• Ability to interpret and organize information from measurements, photographs, notes, markups, and project requirements.
• Ability to understand and work from blueprints, existing plans, templates, and previous project examples.
• Ability to follow established instructions and apply the same standards independently to similar future projects.
• Strong attention to timelines, accuracy, organization, and task completion.
• Ability to retain feedback and avoid repeating previously corrected errors.
• Ability to ask appropriate questions when project information is incomplete rather than requiring constant step-by-step supervision.

Project Coordinator – CAD, Conceptual Design & Technology

Across Clocks is hiring a Project Coordinator – CAD, Conceptual Design & Technology to support a U.S.-based construction company with preliminary planning, project documentation, visual concepts, and technology-driven workflow support.

This is a hands-on coordination and drafting support role focused on taking basic project information—such as measurements, dimensions, photographs, notes, and client requirements—and developing it into organized preliminary layouts and schematic/conceptual information.

The ideal candidate understands basic building dimensions and can translate measurements into clear property or building footprints. The role does not require the employee to independently perform final architectural or structural design; the client will retain responsibility for higher-level design development and final technical decisions.

The client is also interested in someone comfortable with modern technology and AI tools who can gradually help streamline project and operational workflows.

• Architectural or construction drafting experience.
  
• Experience with schematic/conceptual planning and design-development workflows .
  
• Familiarity with Florida building codes or Florida construction projects.
  
• Project coordination experience within architecture or construction.
  
• Experience creating visual concepts or presentations that help clients understand proposed work.
  
• Familiarity with modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, or similar platforms .
  
• Interest in using AI and technology to improve and streamline business and project workflows.
