Qualifications

Residential Revit Drafter — Modeling & Construction Drawings

Across Clocks is hiring a Mid-to-Senior Revit Residential Drafter to support a U.S.-based residential architecture practice.

This is a hands-on Revit production role for someone who can take an existing floor plan, design direction, or preliminary model and independently develop it into a coordinated residential Revit model and construction drawing set.

The work is focused on residential architecture in the United States. The ideal candidate understands how buildings are actually put together — not just how to model them — and is comfortable working with plans, elevations, sections, details, framing information, and construction documentation.

The role will begin part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time long-term position based on performance and workload.

This is primarily a behind-the-scenes production role. Strong independence, accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail are essential.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on proficiency in Autodesk Revit for architectural production.
  
• Professional experience working on residential architectural projects.
  
• Ability to develop and refine complete 3D Revit building models from floor plans, sketches, or design direction.
  
• Experience producing coordinated construction drawing sets, including floor plans, elevations, sections, details, and sheet layouts.
  
• Strong practical understanding of residential building construction and how assemblies are put together.
  
• Ability to read, understand, and produce technical architectural details such as wall sections and construction details.
  
• Experience working with framing plans and other construction-related information.
  
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain accuracy across drawings, views, sheets, and model updates.
  
• Strong attention to detail and quality control. Repeated drafting/modeling errors are not acceptable.
  
• Excellent spoken and written English communication skills, with clear and easily understandable verbal communication for collaboration with a U.S.-based team.
  
• Long-term remote opportunity supporting a U.S.-based residential architecture practice.
  

Preferred

• Experience supporting U.S. residential architecture projects.
  
• Familiarity with U.S. residential construction practices, particularly projects in Florida or the Midwest.
  
• Experience with site plans and residential permit/construction documentation.
  
• Portfolio or work samples showing relevant Revit residential production work.
