Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a purchasing/procurement professional to manage the buying process for a defined set of goods, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and budgets. This role contributes to the company’s decarbonization strategy and interface with suppliers for PO execution.

Remote position available in Poland requiring excellent English, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to update ERP systems while supporting project success across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and relevant work experience in sourcing or procurement.
• Strong written and oral English skills.
• Ability to navigate a corporate/matrix environment and understand business drivers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the buying process for a set of goods according to GE Vernova standards.
• Interface between supplier and internal entity on specifications and budgets.
• Manage supplier relationships for PO execution.
• Execute standard enabling activities and provide policy-compliant advice.
• Handle problems and schedule changes to keep timelines.
• Update the ERP system with accurate data.
• Resolve issues using good judgment within established procedures.
• Consult senior teammates for policy-exceeding issues.
• Develop strong customer relationships and act as interface between customer and GE Vernova.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the buying process for a given set of goods according to GE Vernova corporate standards and sourcing policy
• Interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets
• Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution
• Focus on execution of standard enabling activities / provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline
• Manage problems and schedule changes
• Update ERP system
• Resolve issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures
• Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy / parameters
• Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE Vernova

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college combined with relevant work experience, preferable in the Sourcing & Buying-Procurement
• Good understanding of key business drivers from a corporate/matrix work environment to accomplish own work
• Very good written and oral English skills
