Job summary

GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a procurement professional to manage the buying process for a defined set of goods, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and sourcing policies.

You will interface with suppliers, manage PO execution, and maintain supplier relationships, while updating the ERP system and coordinating with cross-functional teams. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in sourcing/procurement and strong English skills.

Job Description Summary

As part of the supply chain, the purchasing department ensures the components for the projects are delivered and makes a significant contribution to the success of decarbonization strategy. Become part of a winning team and help to deliver the Green Energy transition.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the buying process for a given set of goods according to GE Vernova corporate standards and sourcing policy
• Interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets
• Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution
• Focus on execution of standard enabling activities / provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline
• Manage problems and schedule changes
• Update ERP system
• Resolve issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures
• Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy / parameters
• Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE Vernova

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college combined with relevant work experience, preferable in the Sourcing & Buying-Procurement
• Good understanding of key business drivers from a corporate/matrix work environment to accomplish own work
• Very good written and oral English skills
