GE Vernova, Inc. is seeking a procurement professional to manage the buying process for a defined set of goods in a remote role aimed at supporting the Green Energy transition. You will interface with suppliers and internal teams on specifications, budgets and PO execution, while maintaining GE Vernova standards.

The role requires collaboration across teams, strong written and spoken English, and the ability to document, plan and execute procurement programs in a matrix organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with procurement experience.
• Understanding of corporate/matrix work environment.
• Very good written and oral English skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage the buying process for a given set of goods according to GE Vernova corporate standards and sourcing policy.
• Interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets.
• Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution.
• Support standard enabling activities and provide policy-based guidance.
• Resolve problems and schedule changes, update ERP system.
• Escalate issues to senior team members when needed.
• Develop strong customer relationships and act as interface between customer and GE Vernova.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the buying process for a given set of goods according to GE Vernova corporate standards and sourcing policy
• Interface between supplier and entity with respect to specifications and budgets
• Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution
• Focus on execution of standard enabling activities / provision of advice subject to policy and work routines within an enabling discipline
• Manage problems and schedule changes
• Update ERP system
• Resolve issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures
• Consult more senior team members for issues outside of defined policy / parameters
• Develop strong customer relationships and serve as the interface between customer and GE Vernova

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college combined with relevant work experience, preferable in the Sourcing & Buying-Procurement
• Good understanding of key business drivers from a corporate/matrix work environment to accomplish own work
• Very good written and oral English skills
