Job summary

CE Interim | Cross-cultural Executive Interim Management seeks an experienced Interim ERP Program Director to lead the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations rollout across Europe for a premium manufacturing group. You will run the client side, challenge the implementation partner and ensure go-live success.

Based in the EU and able to travel; on-site in north-eastern Poland with occasional travel to Europe and the USA; 18-month assignment, immediate start.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in IT/ERP or business systems, with at least 5 years leading ERP programmes.
• Successful delivery of at least two ERP implementations through go-live and stabilisation.
• Hands-on leadership of at least one Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations implementation.
• Proven experience managing a major IT implementation partner from the client side.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, preferably made-to-order or complex configured products.
• Experience with multi-country ERP rollouts across Europe and ideally Polish tax and reporting requirements.
• Previous interim management experience on a B2B basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead the company side of the European Dynamics 365 rollout from common design through go-live and stabilisation.
• Work closely with the responsible company executive, the implementation partner’s Project Manager and the US project lead.
• Run weekly project governance, change boards, risk reviews and go/no-go preparation.
• Manage the implementation partner against agreed deliverables, deadlines, payments and change requests.
• Ensure Polish tax and reporting requirements, including JPK_VAT and SAF-T, are ready before go-live.
• Lead business adoption across plant and office teams while keeping project cost and business case under control.

Our client is a premium manufacturer of high-value, made-to-order products and is now part of a US industrial group.

The business has grown faster than its systems. Finance, payroll and production planning currently rely on several legacy tools and spreadsheets.

The group is moving its European companies onto Microsoft Dynamics 365 using one common design and phased go-lives.

A major IT implementation partner is building the system. The company now needs its own experienced Interim ERP Program Director to lead the client side, challenge the implementation partner and ensure the new system goes live successfully.

Job Challenge

Requirement 04: Available to work on-site in north-eastern Poland most of the week, with travel across Europe and occasionally to the USA
