Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a Production Planning Specialist to join our Niemce, Poland team. You will develop and manage production plans, schedule production activities, and coordinate with manufacturing, logistics, and sales to ensure timely delivery.

Proficiency in SAP and MS Excel, plus strong analytical and communication skills, are essential in a fast-paced automotive environment. Knowledge of MRP, English at B2 level, and Polish language fluency are required to effectively communicate with

• Previous experience in production planning, material planning, or a similar planning role.
• Knowledge of production and logistics processes, including MRP principles.
• Good command of MS Excel and strong analytical skills.
• English language skills at B2 level.
• Polish language skills are essential for effective day-to-day communication.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• Develop short, medium, and long-term production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, and production capacity.
• Create and update production schedules to ensure on-time delivery and efficient use of production resources.
• Monitor production plan execution, identify potential delays or capacity constraints, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding order status, delivery dates, quantities, and changes in demand.
• Coordinate closely with production, material planning, logistics, and other internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Manage customer orders and production orders in SAP, ensuring accurate and up-to-date planning data.
• Monitor inventory levels of finished goods, semi-finished products, and materials to support production continuity.
• Analyze planning performance, delivery reliability, and relevant KPIs, and prepare regular reports.
• Identify risks affecting customer deliveries and coordinate solutions with relevant stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to production planning, customer service, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Good command of MS Excel and strong analytical skills
• English language skills at B2 level
• Polish language skills are essential for effective day-to-day communication
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with a customer-oriented approach
• Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple activities simultaneously, and work effectively under time pressure
• Automotive industry experience is an advantage, particularly experience in material planning
