Job summary

OPmobility SE is seeking a Material Planning Specialist to ensure material availability for production in Niemce, Poland. You will manage SAP-based material plans, coordinate supplier deliveries, and support continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency.

The role requires 2+ years in material planning, SAP expertise, strong Excel skills, and Polish/English communication abilities in a fast-paced automotive environment.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in material planning, supply planning, or a similar position.
• Knowledge of material planning processes, inventory management, and MRP principles.
• Good knowledge of SAP is mandatory.
• Advanced MS Excel skills and good knowledge of MS Office.
• English language skills at B2 level.
• Polish language skills are essential for effective day-to-day communication.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
• Analytical thinking and the ability to solve problems effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond to changing priorities.
• Good communication and negotiation skills, with a supplier-oriented and results-driven approach.
• Automotive industry experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor material requirements to ensure timely availability of materials and components for production.
• Manage material supply plans in SAP and MRP systems, ensuring inventory levels and continuity of production.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers and monitor deliveries to meet production requirements.
• Maintain regular communication with suppliers regarding delivery dates, quantities, shortages, and potential supply disruptions.
• Monitor critical material deliveries, identify risks, and coordinate corrective actions to prevent production delays.
• Investigate and resolve material shortages, delivery discrepancies, and other supply-related issues with suppliers and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate material, supplier, and planning data in SAP and ensure data integrity across systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and cooperate with plant logistics for stock control and periodic checks.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Production Planning, Logistics, Quality, and other internal stakeholders for efficient material flow.
• Support new product introductions and lifecycle changes by coordinating material planning activities with relevant teams.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and prepare analyses and reports on material availability, inventory, and delivery reliability.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to material planning, supplier performance, and supply chain efficiency.
